NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI (November 2, 2016) - Life Wear Technologies, a leading supplier of both branded and private label sports medicine products, has elected Robert Hubert and Dr. Curt Doberstein to its Board of Directors.

Dr. Curt DobersteinDr. Doberstein is currently Professor and Vice Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine of Brown University. He also serves as the Program Director for the Brown University neurosurgery residency program.

Dr. Doberstein, a resident of Tiverton, received his B.S. in biology at Haverford College and his M.D. Degree from McGill University. He subsequently completed his neurosurgery residency and fellowship at the UCLA School of Medicine. He joined the faculty at Brown University in 1995 and has practiced and taught neurosurgery at Brown since that time. He has published and lectured extensively in the field of neurosurgery and served as interim Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery from 2007-2010 and from 2014-2015.

Mr. Hubert founded and has served as President of SPEC Process Engineering & Construction for the past 21 years. SPEC specializes in the design and construction of manufacturing facilities that are technically challenging or pose potential safety challenges to people and the environment. His company has served the pharmaceutical, chemical, electronics and energy industries.

Robert HubertHubert, who lives in Harvard, Mass., has worked extensively to bring business management concepts to the problems of manufacturing growth. He received his degree at Manhattan College in New York City with studies in management, finance and engineering.
