Louis J. Simon, CFO

Louis J. Simon is the Chief Financial Officer of Life Wear Technologies formally Modular Thermal Technologies. Mr. Simon is an accomplished, results-driven, senior accounting and financial executive who is able to utilize leadership skills, analysis, and team approach. Experience communicating and resolving complex issues with stakeholders including primary lenders, mezzanine lenders, private equity and Board of Directors, utilizing knowledge of GAAP as well as IRS regulations.

Prior to joining Life Wear Technologies, Lou served as VP of Finance at The Matlet Group where he was a key member of the senior management team, responsible for overall fiscal management of parent company consisting of several mid-size foreign and domestic printing and packaging companies.

Lou started his career in public accounting at Sullivan and Company CPA’s LLP which was later acquired by Blum Shapiro. Lou was a Principal in the Accounting and Auditing department and worked primarily in manufacturing and distributing industries. Lou received both his Bachelor’s degree in accounting and his Master’s in Taxation from Bryant University.

Lou was honored in 2011 as a winner of the "Forty Under Forty" contest sponsored by Providence Business News, based on his professional accomplishments, his contributions to the workplace, and his volunteer efforts that have made a difference in the community.

Lou is the President of the Coventry Rams Pop Warner Youth Football Organization and a manager and Vice President of Coventry Little League. He has been involved in the West Bay Collaborative Transition Academy where he lead a volunteer effort to provide financial literacy training for students with special needs.
